The floor was hand scrapped, then fumed and waxed finished

ALBANY ROAD, TOORAK

ALBANY ROAD, TOORAK
Versailles floor from French Oak, that was domed, and scrapped to appear like an old floor. This was a renovation by Rob Mills at Albany Road, Toorak. This house was later sold on the market for a record price. This floor was coated with Bona traffic.

END GRAIN COBBLE

This is an end grain cobbled flooring made of French Oak. It has been fumed and waxed in a cellar. Each cobble is 70x70x21mm, and has a slight domed face.

End grain flooring has been traditional used for industrial applications, as it is very durable, in this application it has a very nice old world feel and it very appropriate in a cellar.

BRIGHTON PARQUETRY

Marie Antoinette
This was a Marie Antoinette installed in Brighton, it was oil stained and finished on site. This floor has had regular parties held on it over the past 7 years and has not been re-finish.

WELCOME

WELCOME TO OUR BLOG!
Created by master architect, Roubo, for the construction of Versailles Palace. It has stood the time as the most elegant of art parquet.  Roubo created a timber floor to go over existing stone floor, many rooms have different details to suit each application. We engineer in a cold press to make our panels more functional for installation and transport, using natural oils and waxes, age old treatments we can make new or age to your desire. Our  18th century patterns are more intricate and shows a total of 12 squares,  whereas 17th century patterns are earlier versions, only showing four squares.  Please emails your requests with your details and we will send you an order questionnaire.
